Teach a Hospitality & Culinary Management dual credit course at the Lake County Tech Campus.
Currently or will be teaching Hospitality & Culinary Management at the Lake County Tech Campus; Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, Hospitality Management, Nutrition, Management, -OR-related discipline; -AND-minimum of five (5) years of experience as a working chef - OR-hospitality professional supervising a kitchen/hospitality staff; - OR- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, Hospitality Management, Nutrition, Management, -OR- repeated discipline; -AND-minimum of three (3) years of experience as a working chef -OR- hospitality professional supervising a kitchen/hospitality staff; -OR- Master’s degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, Hospitality Management, Nutrition, Management -OR- related discipline; -AND- minimum of one (1) year of experience as a working chef -OR- hospitality professional supervising a kitchen/hospitality staff.
Possess and maintain eligibility to work with secondary (high school) and post-secondary students, in-person at all assigned work locations and virtually, in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Illinois School Code and Faith's Law. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a post-offer fingerprint-based criminal history records check, Employment History Review, and any other screening or clearance requirements mandated by state or federal law and applicable school district policies or procedures. Continued employment is subject to maintaining such eligibility and clearances.
Pay Rate: Salaries for Dual Credit Adjuncts are paid through their high school district. The College of Lake County may provide stipends for specific professional development activities.
