Copyright and Licensing

The journal states its copyright and publication-rights terms on its article pages.

Authors are responsible for clearing third-party material, including images, tables, figures, maps, datasets, and long quotations, before submission or publication.

Articles are published under the CC BY 4.0.

The copyright holder and CC BY 4.0 licence should appear in article PDFs and article pages. Author self-archiving is permitted when the shared copy identifies the published version, DOI, citation, and licence.

The article licence remains separate from the copyright and terms that apply to the journal website itself.
