Aviation enables long-distance tourism but remains difficult to reconcile with the pace and scale of absolute emissions reduction required by climate goals. This webinar examines the atmospheric effects of carbon dioxide and other aviation emissions. It assesses aircraft efficiency, sustainable aviation fuels, hydrogen, electric propulsion and fleet renewal in relation to technical readiness, energy requirements, production capacity and life-cycle emissions.
