Sameer Hosany is a Professor of Marketing at Royal Holloway Business School, Royal Holloway, University of London. His research lies at the intersection of psychology, marketing and tourism, with a particular focus on consumer and tourist behaviour, emotions and experiences. His research also examines the impact of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence on consumer behaviour, as well as sustainability and responsible consumption. His work draws on a range of quantitative and qualitative approaches, including experiments, survey research, multivariate modelling, systematic literature reviews and conceptual research. His research has been published in leading journals across marketing, tourism, psychology and consumer behaviour. Sameer was named a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher and has been ranked among the world’s top 2% most influential scientists in the Stanford/Elsevier global citation rankings.
