T. C. Chang is Professor of Social-Cultural Geography at the National University of Singapore. His research explores tourism and urban change in Asia, with particular interests in place identity, heritage and the role of arts and culture in cities. His work examines the connections between tourism development, urban conservation and redevelopment. He holds a PhD in Geography from McGill University.
