Scholardemia is funded by the organisations that run their research operations here: labs, journals, and institutions. That model is what lets us keep a firm promise to authors and readers.
The journal APC rule
Scholardemia journals do not charge article processing charges (APCs). This does not make a broader claim about submission, page, reader, or unrelated platform charges.
How organisational subscriptions work
Workspace and platform subscriptions are separate from the journal APC policy:
- Lab and institution subscriptions: research groups and organisations subscribe for their workspace, public site, and journal infrastructure. Professional journal plans add capabilities such as a custom domain and support for identifiers and indexing.
- Individual Premium memberships: optional personal workflow tools for researchers who want them.
If your institution is considering supporting Scholardemia, or you want plan details or changes for a journal you run, start from the pricing page or write to support@scholardemia.com.
