Course certificates

2 min readUpdated 10 July 2026Learning & courses

Some courses offer a certificate of completion. Whether a certificate is available is the instructor’s choice, made per course, so not every course issues one. Certificates issued on Scholardemia carry a unique certificate number and can be verified online by anyone you share them with.

Which courses offer certificates

Instructors can enable completion certificates in their course settings as a course policy. If a course offers one, completing the course is what makes you eligible; see Complete chapters & track progress. If you are unsure whether a course you are taking issues certificates, ask the instructor through the course discussion.

Receiving your certificate

  • Automatic issuance on course completion is not yet live, so certificates do not arrive on their own the moment you finish.
  • In the meantime, ask your instructor about arranging your certificate once you have completed the course, or contact support@scholardemia.com.

Verify and share

Every certificate has a verification page at scholardemia.com/certificates/verify/<certificate number>. The page shows whether the certificate is valid, who it was issued to, and when. Share that link with an employer or institution when they need proof the certificate is genuine; a revoked certificate is clearly marked as such.

Verification pages are kept out of search engines, so a certificate can only be looked up by someone who has its number.
