Charts turn a dataset into something you can read at a glance and share with others. They are built in the data hub from datasets you own or can access, and they stay linked to their source data.
Creating a chart
Start from a dataset
Open the chart creation page and choose a dataset, or start from a dataset you are already exploring. The hub can suggest chart configurations that fit the data’s shape.
Choose a chart type and map the data
Pick a visual form such as a bar, line, or area chart, then choose which columns drive the axes and series. If the data needs reshaping first, do it in the explorer; see Explore & transform data.
Refine and save
Adjust titles and options until the chart says what you mean, then save. Your charts are collected at My charts in the data hub.
Drafts and visibility
Charts start out visible only to you while you work on them. When a chart is ready for an audience, publish it with the visibility you want; the rules are covered in Share & embed charts.
