Once a chart says what you want it to say, you can publish it for a wider audience and even place a live copy of it on pages outside Scholardemia.
Publishing a chart
Charts use the same visibility levels as datasets: private, shared, public, and official. The key rule is that a chart can never be broader than its source dataset. If the dataset is private, the chart stays private; if the dataset is shared, the chart can be shared but not public. To publish a chart publicly, make the dataset public first; see Dataset access & permissions.
Public charts get their own landing page that anyone can open from the chart’s link, with the visualisation rendered live.
Embedding a chart elsewhere
- Open the chart and use its embed action to copy an embed code; this is available once the chart is publicly visible.
- The code is a standard iframe pointing at the chart’s embed address, so you can paste it into any website or CMS.
- Embeds stay live: when you update the published chart, pages embedding it show the updated version.
Embed not showing? Check that the chart (and therefore its dataset) is still public. If it looks right and the embed still fails, email support@scholardemia.com with the chart link.
