Scholardemia on your phone

2 min readUpdated 10 July 2026Getting started

Scholardemia adapts to small screens rather than hiding features behind a cut-down mobile version. Everything you use on a desktop is reachable on your phone; it is simply arranged for touch.

  • The header shows a menu button; tap it to open the navigation drawer, which contains the full left-rail navigation from the desktop layout.
  • You can also swipe in from the left edge of the screen to open the drawer, the same gesture many social apps use.
  • Your avatar sits at the other end of the header, and panels such as filters and task details open as bottom drawers sized for thumbs.

Working on the move

The feed, inbox, documents, events, and projects all have touch-friendly layouts. Long reading and writing sessions are still most comfortable on a larger screen, but reviewing comments, replying to messages, and checking an event programme work well from a phone. Event check-in is designed mobile-first, so scanning a QR code at a venue is a one-hand job.

Make it feel like a native app

Add Scholardemia to your home screen to get a full-screen, app-like experience with its own icon. See Install Scholardemia as an app for the steps on Android and iOS.

If a page looks cramped, check your browser’s text-size setting first; very large system font sizes compress the available space on small screens.
