Scholardemia is an online-first platform, but it degrades gracefully when your connection drops. Here is what to expect while you are offline, and what happens when you come back.
What still works offline
- Previously loaded pagesmay remain available from your browser’s cache, so you can keep reading what was already on screen.
- Event schedules you have opened recently are cached, so conference programmes stay readable at venues with poor connectivity.
- Local drafts and queued changes can remain on your device until the connection returns and sync resumes.
Anything that needs the server, such as loading new content, sending messages, or saving to shared documents, waits until you are back online.
The offline page
If you navigate somewhere the app cannot reach, you land on a connection-status page. It watches your connection for you: the Retry button enables the moment your browser reports that you are online again, and reloading then continues from the latest server state.
When you reconnect
Reload the page once your connection is restored rather than continuing on a stale view. That ensures you see the latest version of shared documents and conversations before making further changes.
