On a desktop screen, the floating dock is your primary way of moving between Scholardemia’s tools, and the left rail shows the sub-navigation for wherever you are. On a phone, the full navigation lives in a drawer behind the menu button. This guide maps out where each tool lives.
The dock & the left rail
Use the floating dock to switch between tools. The left rail is a context sidebar: it shows the sub-navigation of the tool you are currently in, so it always reflects where you are. Across the platform, the tools fall into three groups.
- Core: Home (your feed), Inbox (email, chat, and channels in one place), Notifications, and Settings.
- Workspace: Projects, Documents, Data, and Publications: the tools you write and analyse with.
- Resources: Learning, Events, Careers, and Bookmarks for everything you have saved.
The home feed
Home is where you land after signing in. It shows posts and activity from the people, journals, and topics you follow, and it is where you compose your own posts. The more interests you pick and people you follow, the more useful it becomes.
On smaller screens
On a phone, tap the menu button in the header, or swipe in from the left edge of the screen, to open the drawer. It contains the full navigation, grouped into the Core, Workspace, and Resources sections above, so nothing is missing on mobile. See Scholardemia on your phone.
