Keyboard shortcuts

2 min readUpdated 10 July 2026Getting started

A small set of shortcuts covers search, composing, and navigation. Press Shift + ? anywhere in the app to open the built-in shortcuts reference. Apart from Ctrl/⌘ K, shortcuts never fire while you are typing in a text field or the editor.

Actions

  • Ctrl + K (or ⌘ K on a Mac): open global search.
  • N: compose. On the home feed this opens the post composer; in the inbox it starts a new email.
  • Shift + ?: show the shortcuts help dialog.

Navigation uses two-key sequences: press g, then a letter, within about a second.

  • g h: home feed
  • g i: inbox
  • g d: documents
  • g p: projects
  • g e: events
  • g b: bookmarks

The full list, including a few more destinations, is in the Shift + ? dialog.

In the editor

The document editor supports the formatting shortcuts you already know, such as Ctrl + B for bold and Ctrl + I for italic, alongside its toolbar. Because the editor is a text field, the global shortcuts above stay out of your way while you write.
