Voice & video calls

1 min readUpdated 10 July 2026Messaging, inbox & notifications

Conversations are designed to carry calls as well as messages. Built-in voice and video calls are currently marked as coming soon, so this page explains what you will see today and how to hold a video meeting in the meantime.

Calls in conversations

Conversation headers include audio and video call buttons. Where built-in calling is not yet available, the buttons are shown disabled with a coming soon notice. Once calling is switched on, you will be able to start a call directly from the conversation, and this guide will be updated with the details.

Hold a video meeting today

  • Schedule a meeting with a generated Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams link from a calendar event; see Schedule Zoom & Google Meet calls.
  • Share the calendar event into the conversation so everyone has the join link where the discussion is already happening.
  • For an ad hoc call, paste any meeting link you already have into the chat; internal event links become rich cards automatically.

Our support team reads every message. Include what you were doing, any error message, and a screenshot if you have one; it usually saves a round-trip.
