Schedule Zoom & Google Meet calls

3 min readUpdated 10 July 2026Projects, tasks & calendar

Calendar events can carry a video meeting link, generated for you by Google Meet or Zoom. Everyone invited sees the link on the event. Meeting integrations are part of Premium membership.

Connect a meeting provider

Connect Google or Zoom from the calendar settings Integrations tab, or under Settings → Connected. Each provider uses its own sign-in window, and you can disconnect at any time. If you have not connected yet, the event form offers to connect the provider the first time you try to generate a link.

Add a meeting to an event

  1. Create or edit a calendar event

In Calendar, open the event and find the meeting section.

  2. Choose a provider and generate the link

Pick Google Meet or Zoom. Scholardemia creates the meeting with the event’s title and times and saves the join link on the event. You can also paste a link you already have instead.

  3. Invite attendees

Add attendees as usual. They see the join link on the event and in their invitation, and everyone is reminded automatically as the meeting approaches.

What about calls inside chat?

Built-in voice and video calls inside conversations are marked coming soon. Scheduled Zoom and Google Meet meetings are the way to hold video meetings today. See Voice & video calls.

If a provider connection stops working, disconnect and reconnect it from the Integrations tab, or see Fix Zoom connection problems.
