Scholardemia includes a dyslexia-friendly font option that swaps the app’s typeface for Atkinson Hyperlegible, a face designed for maximum letter distinction. It applies across the whole interface, not just to articles.
Switch it on
Open appearance settings
Go to Settings → Appearance and open the accessibility preferences.
Choose the dyslexia-friendly font style
Under Text & spacing, set the font style to Dyslexia-friendly. The preview updates immediately so you can judge the effect before saving.
Fine-tune if you like
Many readers pair the font with a larger text size, relaxed line height, or wider letter spacing, all available in the same dialog.
About the typeface
Atkinson Hyperlegible was developed with the Braille Institute to make similar characters, such as capital I, lowercase l, and the digit 1, unmistakably different from each other. The font ships with Scholardemia, so it loads without any extra download or browser configuration.
