You stay in control of your data on Scholardemia. You can see what we hold about you, take a copy of it, and delete your account entirely, all from your own settings, without writing to anyone.
Your rights in practice
- Access and portability: request a ZIP export of your data from Settings → Privacy & Data.
- Rectification: edit your profile and content directly at any time.
- Erasure: delete your account yourself from the danger zone of the same page.
For anything not covered by the self-service tools, email support@scholardemia.com from the address on your account. Our privacy policy describes how we handle personal data.
What account deletion removes
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone; you confirm it by typing your username or email. It removes your profile and your personal content, including posts, comments, messages, reactions, follows, bookmarks, shares, and uploaded files, and erases your stored files and payment customer records with our processors.
A small number of records survive in anonymised form because they belong to someone else’s work or to platform integrity: for example, answers you gave to a researcher’s questionnaire remain with the study with your identity removed, and staff moderation records keep an anonymised audit trail.
