Two tools in the event admin console keep people informed: invitations bring new participants in, and announcements reach everyone who has already registered. Attendees can also message each other directly from the event.
Inviting people
- From the Invitations tab, paste email addresses one per line or upload a CSV; duplicates are removed before sending, and you can add a name, organisation, and title per invitee.
- Choose an invitation template and customise the subject and message; placeholders fill in the event name, date, location, and organiser automatically. Invitation emails include a calendar attachment.
- Each email carries personal accept and decline links, so recipients can respond without an account; invitees who already have one also get an in-app notification.
- The tab tracks sends, opens, acceptances, and pending responses, and a remind-non-responders action re-emails everyone who has not yet replied.
Announcements to attendees
From the Communications tab, compose an announcement with a subject, rich-text body, and preview text, and deliver it by email, as an in-app notification, or both. You can target recipients by registration status and ticket type, send immediately or schedule for later, and follow deliveries and open rates in the history section.
Attendee messaging
Every event has a messaging page where confirmed attendees can browse the attendee directory, start private one-to-one conversations, and schedule meetings with each other. These messages stay between the two attendees; use announcements when you need to reach everyone.
