Finding the right people is most of the value of an academic network. Scholardemia suggests colleagues to you, lets you search for anyone by name or field, and gives institutions their own discoverable records.
Suggested colleagues
During onboarding, the discover step proposes researchers based on your interests, each with the reason for the match, such as a shared keyword. The same suggestions continue afterwards in the Scholars to follow panel beside your home feed, with a follow button on each card. Keeping your research keywords current improves the matches; see Complete your researcher profile.
Search for people
In global search, the People scope on the Scholardemia source finds members of the platform and links straight to their profiles. Switching the source to Academic web searches author records from the wider scholarly index, useful for researchers who are not on Scholardemia yet.
Explore institutions
Institutions appear in two forms. The hiring institutions directory lists universities, research centres, and organisations recruiting through Scholardemia Careers, each with a public page of open roles. For the academic record of an institution, its output and people, use the Institutions scope of the Academic web search source.
