Every journal on Scholardemia gets a complete public site: home page, articles, issues, editorial board, guidelines, and contact pages. Themes set the site’s look and starting layout, and the page builder lets the team edit every page without touching code.
Choosing a theme
Alongside the Default look, journals can choose from themed templates named Broadsheet, Folio, Verdigris, Wire, and Meridian. Each seeds a distinct home-page layout built from journal blocks, for example the current issue, latest articles, a submit call-to-action, journal news, and open calls for papers. A theme is a starting point, not a cage: everything it lays out can be rearranged afterwards.
Editing pages with the page builder
- Journal pages are edited with the built-in page builder, the same visual editor used across Scholardemia sites.
- Standard pages come seeded for you: About, Editorial Board, Author Guidelines, Peer Review, and Journal Statements. Edit the text to match your journal’s policies; the wording of those policies is entirely the journal’s own.
- Two journal-aware blocks pull live content automatically: issue archives and the editorial board grid stay current without manual edits. Other blocks, such as article lists and calls for papers, are edited by hand.
- Pages support drafts, so you can prepare changes and publish them when the team is ready.
