Every journal site includes an editorial board page that presents the people behind the journal: their names, role labels, and affiliations. A visible, current board is one of the strongest credibility signals a journal can offer.
What readers see
The board page lists members grouped with their roles, such as editor-in-chief, editors, and board members; role labels are set by the journal, so you can use the titles your field expects. Members who are on Scholardemia are linked to their researcher profiles, and people who are not on the platform are listed by name and affiliation.
Managing the board
- A self-service board manager has not shipped yet. Until it does, email support@scholardemia.com to add or remove members, adjust role labels, or reorder the roster.
- When a member’s name matches a Scholardemia profile, the entry links to that profile automatically; otherwise it stays a plain roster entry.
- The board can also appear as a block on other journal pages through the page builder; see Journal site themes & pages.
Keep it current. Readers and prospective authors check board pages when judging a journal, so update affiliations and remove departed members promptly.
