An organisation’s presence on Scholardemia is run from its workspace, so sharing control means managing workspace members and their roles. Who follows the organisation is a separate, reader-side choice.
Share control with workspace roles
Every lab or journal workspace has a members list where you invite colleagues and assign each person a role. From least to most access:
- Member and Analysttake part in the workspace’s day-to-day work.
- Editor can edit content the workspace publishes.
- Admin manages members, settings, and the public site.
- Owner holds everything above, including the workspace itself.

Who follows your organisation
Readers can follow a public journal from its site, which brings the journal’s news into their feeds. Followers choose to follow; you cannot add or remove them yourself, and the way to grow the audience is to publish content worth following.
When people move on
When someone leaves the organisation, an admin removes them from the workspace members list; their personal account, profile, and followers are untouched. Keep at least one other admin at all times so the workspace never depends on a single account.
